Zun Zun Egui’s Katang is my big new discovery from The Quietus’ 2011 Spotify playlist. The album itself is a bit uneven, but it’s completely unlike anything else I’ve heard this year. It’s as if their favorite song is “I Zimbra” (a very good choice) and they’ve decided base their entire sound on that. So of course I’m into it.
